1994 Volkswagen Jetta windshield wipers problem

1994 Volkswagen Jetta 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

1994 VW Jetta wipers have 1 speed and wont park at "home" position. Have replaced motor with used and problem exists. Have cleaned contacts on switch as well. Have noticed that there is not a relay on the relay/fuse panel. Can that be the problem?

Yes, if the intermittent wiper relay is missing, symptoms would be as described.

Install one and retest.
