1991 Volkswagen Jetta GLi.....fuel pump fuse blows

i have a jetta gli.....and i have come to find that sometimes if i have to slam on the brakes that my fuel fuse blows....does anyone know what it could be causing this problem...thanks for all help...

From so many time slamming on the brakes, you may have loosened up the pump. There is an access cover to your pump through the trunk, remove the cover and checked the pump, make sure it's secure, and quit slamming on the brakes. Just look ahead a little further, and quick texting why you are driving.
