what's the procedure to do a brake job on the front?

Replacing front brake pads and rotors really isn't too hard to do. If you do it yourself, make sure to get lifetime parts so you never have to pay for them again.

If you look at the pics below, they include the directions and pictures specific to your vehicle for this job.

Also, here is a video of the procedure being done on a VW Beetle. Although it is a different model, the procedure is very similar.

While the brake caliper is removed, remove the caliper mount. There are two bolts on the rear of the steering knuckle. Remove them and remove and replace the rotor.
