brakes squealing

After about 3,000 miles they started to squeak when driving at slow speeds and barely pressing the brakes. When I press harder the squeaking goes away. When driving at high speeds and pressing the brakes hard to squeal. I took it back to the shop to check them out, but they said they look fine. Should I be worried? The squealing is really getting annoying I need rear brakes.

Hi,

Replacing rear brake pads isn't too hard to do. If you plan to keep the vehicle, make sure to get lifetime parts so you never have to pay for them again.

You can expect rear pads to last approximately 30,000 miles. However, that will vary based on driving habits and terrain.

The attached pics below include the directions and pictures specific to your vehicle for rear brake pad and rotor replacement.

Once you have the brake caliper and pads removed, you will need to remove the caliper mounting bracket. There are two bolts holding the mount on. Remove the bolts, remove the mount, remove and replace the rotor.
