hi i have a problem with my golf gti, nearly everytime at lights or junctions when i am slowig down my engine just stalls sometimes it dont stall but the revs drop to around 300 to 400 rpm. can you advise what might be wrong and if its likely to be exspensive to rectify?.

Get the idle speed controller and the throttle actuator position switch/sensor and also the EGR valve if it has one
