2002 Volkswagen Golf engine vibrate at idle

engine vibrate at constant interval every 3 sec. the RPM drops (100RPM) momentary and coms back up.
it is visible looking at the engine or the RPM meter.
Dealer claims he can not reproduce the problem.
PS. it sort of disappear when the engine reaches normal operating temp.

Vacuum leaks are very common on these cars and will cause the same symptom.
Look very closely for any broken, torn, or loose hoses.
Even if the plastic boot around your dipstick is broken it will create an intake leak.

Also check for a dirty throttle body.
