i have a 1999 volkswagon golf gl and i bought 2 headlights and a replacement bumper from keystone autoparts, when i got the parts, the headlights were not correct and the bumper was too short, they order a different bumper and showed me 4 other headlights but none of them worked, any answers?

Check your manufacture date to be sure it is the 99 model, if it was manufactured late in the year it could have a different body style, also there are body kits available that change the bumper and lamp configurations, be sure you don't have one of these. As a last check be sure your car was not made in Germany as they have different bumper heights and lamps on German models due to the different laws.
