Recently I heard a clunking noise coming from the rear of my car, kind of like something was falling off but when I checked, it seemed as though everything was still there. Now when I hit a bump, the rear car shakes from left to right, sort of shimmies or feels like the wind is shifting the car from underneath. What could be wrong? Is it an expensive repair? Is it worth fixing or is the car worth less than the repair? Thanks!

There are bushings in the rear suspension of your car that wear. If they are bad enough they will make noise but for sure will make the car wonder. Its because the rear wheels move out of alignment because of the worn bushings. Probably 2 to 3 hundred. Its not a job you want to do yourself because the bushings have to be pressed out and back in.
