1997 Volkswagen Golf 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

i have coolant coming out of overflow valve on expansion tank even thought the coolant level is not over the full mark in fact its well below
cant work out what is causing it i keep filling up but when engine is at operating temp just blows coolant out of expansion tank

Fill and bleed the coolant system .


system overheating
check thermostat ,coolant fan operation, check headgasket
