Hi, i have a 1996 golf vin 106457 and i am trying to swap in a used engine from a recycler this engine is from a jetta and has a vin code of 094180 has a different intake setup, whereas it has no idle solenoid. Can i swap the intake for the one i already have with the idle solenoid along with the old wiring harness? Will it still work? Same year and displacement? Should work as long as the engine code is the same, not the serial #, that is for matching it to the same car
