1993 Volkswagen Golf Manual

Good morning.
Please can you offer guidance.
I awoke this morning to the delight of having to climb into the drivers seat of my car through my boot, due to my central locking not working. The car is a VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GL DIESEL (TURBO) 1993 1896cc Five Door Hatchback Manual. I've checked the fuses and none seem to relate to the central locking.
Can you help........
I'd like to be able to use my doors, and not have to slide in and out of the window like the Dukes of Hazzard.
Many thanks.... in anticipation...

Regards

Ian

Check the fuse box under the hood, if there is no fuse for the locking system specifically it is usually attached to the anti theft system in the radio, try that. Other wise look for a relay that controls the anti theft system.

All of the locks are controlled by actuators in the doors, you may want to look for more general grounding issues if you can't find a fuse or relay.
