1990 Volkswagen Golf Strange sound when i turn

1990 Volkswagen Golf Manual

When i accelerate through turns from a full stopped position i heara clacking sound. it sounds like its coming from the front axel, but i dont know for sure. Any ideas??

This noise is the CV axle that is clicking. This is common when they fail and the repair is to replace them or rebuild them. They are pretty cheap so I would just replace it.
