what will happen if you don't change the oil filter

Hi there, you will eventually sludge it up till it will be blocked, the design allows oil to by-pass it but this will circulate unfiltered oil and the motor by this time will be suffering from sludge and carbon build up in the galleries and this can cause oil starvation problems and failure of major components can follow.
