1977 Volkswagen Eurovan Windshield Wipers have stopped

1977 Volkswagen Eurovan 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Instead of moving when I flip the switch for my wipers they stay still, but there is a whirring sound coming from them. Is this a problem with the fuse, lubrication, motor, or some other type of mechanism, and how do I fix it?

Hi freshbry,

The motor is turning without the arms.

Check the motor to arm linkages, most probably the joints have dropped off.
