Recently I was driving this car and got into an accident. At first it seemed that I did not damage my car and that only the other vehicle was dented. Later I noticed that when I hit the other persons driver side rear quarter pannel it was with my driver side front wheel and not my quarter pannel as previously thought. The wheel itself doesn't appear unaligned but when the wheel it self is straight the steering wheel's 12 o'clock is at about 3 o'clock. I have not driven the car past 5 mph but there is a noticable difference in the way the car moves. Also when backing up with the wheel turned to the right the verticl axis was tilted inward. In other words the rim was not damaged but the top of the wheel was towards the wheel well and the bottom was outward. What I want to know is if this can be fixed by just realigning the wheels or not. Also what are the possible parts that are damaged and what should I expect to pay. If this is not enough info please ask for any info you need to better answer my question.
thank you

Hi there,

There are a few components that can be damaged, rim, suspension strut, stub axle, strut tower, steering links, lower control arm, so I would suggest that you get the front end & steering inspected first, hopefully it will be the steering tie rod and this including an alignment should be under $200.00
