Engine Cooling problem
2002 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a vw with an overheating prob. I replaced the t-stat, fan switch at the rad. I cheched the water pump to see if the propeller was ok it is The fans were coming on but I dont think long enough or the right time. I`m waiting for a fan relay to come in Then I would have replaced all the componets, If the fans still don`t come on what else can I try??

could be faulty engine coolant temp. sensor. other than that the PCM is all that's left on the fan circuit as far as telling it when to come on. if fan isn't the problem though it could be partially clogged radiator needing a flushing.
