2001 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

cant get the door switch that operates the gas cover to release so that I can put fuel in the car. Dont have enough gas to get to the vw dealer to get it fixed. Is there a manual open possible?

Hi there,

I am not that sure about VW's but most cars have an emergency release in the boot look around where the filler is, you may have to pull the boot lining back to see it, look here, also check your owners manual there may be instructions there.
