my heater core is leaking and so i took it to the shop, the guy says its ganna cost about $1,000 to fix it and i was just wondering if thats really teh price to get it fixed. thank you.

what exactly is he doing??? if you add thermostat, flush and ac evac and charge, it could be in the ball park
