Is there a diagram of the spark plug to distributer cap wire diagram? Which wire goes where?

you can find a diagram in the vw alive forever book,
i think the order is 1-4-3-2. you can also check
with the folks over at superbeetles.com

Hi there, th firing order is 1,4,3,2.

No 1 is R/H/F, No 2 is R/H/R, No3 is L/H/f No 4 is L/H/R Front is facing front of car.
