1979 Volkswagen Beetle ENGINE STALLS

Yes I have a 1979 Beetle and after 15 mins of drive time it stalls and I have to wait 3 hours for it to start agin. I replaced the Thermo time switch and no change.

Hi there,

when it stops, you will have to do a few simple tests. Dose it have a strong spark? Is there fuel delivery? It will be either fuel or ignition which is causing your concern, so determin which and re post for more infomation on what to do.
