Brakes problem
1978 Volkswagen Beetle 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
My son has a 1978 Beetle and is tyring to restore it. It seems everthing works OK, except the brake pedal , when you push it to the floor it will not return. I am not sure if the spring is broke or not. Would appreciate any advice.

You'll need to check all hydraulic parts for leaks...have you looked in the master cylinder yet? is there any fluid? Brake fluid, and not some type of oil?
