I just bought a 1974 volkswagen beetle it seems to have a skip and it wont idle. when you are driving at slow speeds it is worse than higher speeds. Thank you in advance for your help

Hi there,

Start with a full tune up, and don't forget the fuel filter and do the valve clearances as well, but first make sure that the compressions are ok after doing the valve clearances.
