My 74 beetle stalls when electric choke kicks off?
Plugs look good, put new wires on carb fuel pump and mechanical distributor and the intake boots don't seem to be sucking any air. Your thoughts?

Check to see if fuel shut off sloenoid is working. Key on voltage is applied remove wire test for voltage . if present attach wire should hear a click if not solenoid faulty. if that is good then must be debris in idle circuit.
