1973 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 95.000 miles

when I drive my car, she seems to be "missing" or "holding back". I just got my valves and points done, and she has a brand new carb. note, she is coming back from a 1300 mi. road trip.
