Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1971 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual
I want to put a 1500 VW motor and transaxle in a dune buggy and place it so it is a mid-engine. This places the diferential backwards. Is it posible to flip the ring gear to the other side of the carrier so i have 4 forward and 1 backward gear, or does this require machineing and drilling beyond a backyard mechanics capability.
