Loose front axle viscous joint

My mechanic said my vehicle listed above with part-time 4WD has a loose front axle viscous joint.

What are the symptoms of a loose viscous joint?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Usually common symptoms are by having a ripped,torn,or loose CV axle boot which will cause the CV joint to lose all the grease.After time the CV joint will start making a clicking sound when making turns.This clicking sound comes from the bearings no longer having grease as a lubricant. CV axles can also fail due to high mileage.Here is a tutorial showing what is involved for its replacement:
