ABS light is on. Wire that hooks into right caliper is disconnected. So wire has something to do with brake system. Now I'm getting vibration and noises from back floor board were rear end and drive shaft are.

Good morning,

Sounds like the rear U joint has failed and needs to be replaced.

You need to remove the shaft and have the universal joint pressed out and a new one installed.

As far as the ABS sensor, is the broken wire part of the sensor or part of the main harness? Can you post a picture for me to see?

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Accurately reference mark the propeller shaft.

3. Remove the clamp bolts from the rear of the pinion flange.

Notice: When removing the propeller shaft, do not attempt to remove the shaft by pounding on the yoke ears or using a tool between the yoke and the universal joint. If the propeller shaft is removed by using such means, the injection joints may fracture and lead to premature failure of the joint.

4. Remove the propeller shaft from the rear axle flange by sliding forward.
5. Tape the bearing cups in order to prevent the loss of bearing rollers.
6. Remove the propeller shaft by using the following procedure:

Important: Do not allow the universal joint to incline greatly; the joint may fracture.

6.1. Lower the rear of propeller shaft.
6.2. Gently pull the shaft from the transmission.

7. Clean all the parts using a suitable solvent.
8. Inspect the outer diameter of the nylon injected yoke for burrs. Burring damages the transmission seal.
9. Inspect for proper installation and uniform seating of the bearing cups.
10. Inspect the slip yoke splines for damage. Replace the parts as necessary.
