When I'm stopped at a light my car doesn't shake, but when I release the break I feel a little vibration. It doesn't vibrate when I drive and is really smooth, only when I'm stopped and the break is released.

Have you rotated the tires? It could be a condition called cupping see here

Also, when the engine mounts are brand new they isolate much better than when they age slightly, so this could be normal for your car.
