I have had this truck for about a year now and it has very poor acceleration. Also when I floor it the rpm's go up to about 3000 and stop, and the car does not move any faster. It is almost like it is in neutral but it stays at a constant speed when I floor it. I have replaced the fuel filter a week ago the plugs and wires a few months ago, cleaned the MAF and tested the TPS. I have run out of ideas on what it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would have the exhaust system pressure tested to look for a plugged converter.

Hello,

Here are a couple of guides that will help you see if there is a plugged cat or a weak fuel pump which can cause the issue as well.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-a-catalytic-converter

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

and

Please run some tests and get back to us we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
