Car was running sweet! Zero problems. Recently when I started it, it revs to 4,500 RPM's and stays there. No vacuum leaks, no hoses off, no wires off, injectors are fine. This has me stumped? I'm an old school mechanic and I have never come across anything like this in my 55 years on the tools. Please help! Awaiting a response. Thank you. Cheers, Charlie.

Hi Charlie,

How about did you check for the vacuum leaks?
Seeing sometimes they can be hard to identify visually. I use carburetor cleaner and spray around the vacuum lines and intake while its running. The idle will change when you spray close to a leak.
Let me know,
Tom
