Car will start an idle fine in neutral but soon as you put it into gear reverse or drive it surges out and stalls?

Then smoke is coming from my exhaust and my air cleaner box. Truck has a rebuilt engine 2 years ago and a rebuilt transmission a year ago been having issues with it for the past 6 months. I changed both the camshaft position sensor and both of the VVT solenoids, and the ignition coils. Somebody please help.

Hi,

The idea that you see smoke from both the exhaust and air box is a concern. What color is the smoke from the exhaust? Also, when you say it surges, do you mean it jumps forward and then stalls? If you keep your foot lightly on the throttle to increase RPMs, can you keep it running?

Sorry for so many questions, but I have two more. Have you scanned the computer to see if there are any diagnostic trouble codes? Also, is it possible for you to record what it does and upload it for me to see and hear?
