Vent doors stuck on defrost

My compressor works fine I can hear it turning on when engaged. My vent doors are stuck on defrost and the vehicle doesn't have a blend door actuator. I do not know what to do, but it's hot.

You are correct in the idea of a blend door but this is called a mode door actuator.
