I have a cub 1300 just repaired and serviced carburetor and changed fuel pump. When driving after a while it switches of like there's no fuel but starts after awhile. Any advise on what could be the problem?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

This vehicle is not offered in the US, so my technical information is limited. However, what you have described sounds like a bad crankshaft position sensor. When it stalls and won't start, you need to check for spark to the plugs. If there is none, then suspect the sensor.

Now, and I apologize for this in advance, without having this vehicle in my manuals, I'm not 100% sure this vehicle has one, but most cars do.

Here are links you may find helpful. First, there is a link that discusses what a crank sensor does, one that describes symptoms, and one that shows in general how one is replaced. The last link I provided shows how to check for ignition spark to the plugs which I feel may be missing when the car shuts off and won't restart.

Take a look through these and let me know if they help.
