Aloha,

I noticed when I went to start the vehicle, it would start, then quit. At one point, I was able to get it home, about a two-mile drive.

I replaced the fuel sending unit, throttle position sensor, fuel pressure regulator, and idle air control valve.

When the vehicle does start, the idle is normal

The codes were 41 & 42.

Mahalo,

Hello from the mainland!

Code 41 - Throttle Position Sensor signal
Code 42 - Vehicle Speed Sensor signal

So code 41 is the one that will cause the starting and stalling. So please recheck the work on that part, also I would check for vacuum leaks, this video will help.

I would clean the throttle body and IAC passages. Please go over these 2 guides as well.

and

Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on. Please go over these guides and get back to us. Ken
