Hi,
Oftentimes, it is related to a failed crankshaft position sensor (CKP) when spark is lost. If you have a live data scanner, see if there is an RPM signal when cranking it. If you don't have one, see if the tachometer moves a little when cranking.

On this vehicle, the CKP is located behind the starter motor, so you will need to remove it if you replace it. If you look below, I attached the directions for replacing it.
