Vehicle not communicating with Sealey ta 500 OBD tool.

Today I plugged my Sealey ta 500 scanner into the the car with the ignition on, but not running. The scanner lit straight up and said communicating please wait.Then after a while it says can not communicate check ignition is on or check connection.

The scanner is okay as I tested it on a Vauxhall Astra h and all okay.

Hey MARNEMAINIA,

You need to turn the ignition off. Then plug the scanner in, then turn the ignition on.
