2002 Vauxhall Zafira Manual 60000 miles

1.6 16v club, engine code z16xe. Where abouts is the egr valve in my engine? Is it easy to find and replace? Do you need to remove any other parts in engine to change the egr valve? If possible could you show me with a diagram? Is it an easy job, as at the moment I dont have alot of money and I want to know if my husband can change the egr valve for me?

The EGR valve replacement is quite an easy repair. I do not have a diagram as the vauxhall range was not released in the USA. Your local library may have one to lend or you could purchase a manual from an autoparts store. It would be cheaper than a garage !
