2001 Vauxhall Zafira wiper blades

2001 Vauxhall Zafira

my wipers keep crossing over and interlock. they work again for a while and do it again.

it is bending the wiper arm. did this the other day and i got new wiper blades.

can they be adjusted?

please help! thankyou x

check the nuts are tight and splines are good on the wiper mountings
