2005 Vauxhall Vectra wiring probs going to injectors

had the car since new about 6 months ago em light came on and car went in to safe mode took car to a friends garage pluged in fault lap top came back with no faults ,on checking wires in engine bay he wiggled the cabe that goes to the injectors the third from the left and car ran ok ,he taped up the wire and the car worked ok until recently and the fault keeps comimg back same one ,i have heard that you can bye a new section of wiring loom and splice it in to cure the fault is this right and is it possable to doit my self is this a common fault as its driving me up the wall as i do not trust it anymore and my wife drives it all the time and do not whant it braking down on her many thanks

yes you can buy the a replacement wiring loom .. this is a common fault on this vehicle
