2004 Vauxhall Vectra spanner/car light and loss off power

2004 Vauxhall Vectra Two Wheel Drive Manual 92000 miles

Hi,

I have just brought a vectra 1.9cdti 150bhp model. The engine cut out in idle once and then today the car/spanner light came on and i had a loss of power so had to pull over. Turned it off and back on and there was no dash light. Took it to a garage and there was no fault code at all. Do you have any ideas? Oh and it has just had an mot and service.
