could these noises be something to do with the air con unit. I realize that Deisels are al little noisier than petrol engines but this sounds like revolving nioses.The car is a2.2 diesel vectra elite dti.

check the A/C belt tensioner/A/C compressor/alternator and water pump and pulley's
