1.8ls engine stars from cold runs fine until reaching normal temp, cuts out and won't restart till fully cold, p1650 fault code no, fault light. Fuel pump and temp sensor changed at garage no change in symptoms. Have had suggestions, crank sensor or ecu. Don't want to waste money on ecu as will cost as much as car worth.
Thanks in advance

I am very surprised this did not cure the fault !! this is a common fault on this vehicle .. It could be the ECU is shutting down if it is getting too hot ? .. next time the vehicle cuts out feel how hot the ECU is and let me know .. also is the car showing any other fault codes .. code P1650 is for power steering pressure switch fault, which would not make the car shutdown ?

Let me know
