1999 Vauxhall Vectra Exhaust problem

It looks like Fibre glass or some other material coming out of the rear tail pipe. I kept pulling it out for about 3 minutes. Could you advise me where this maybe coming from and whether my exhaust system needs replacing. Thank you

Hi there,

This will be a muffler breaking up internally, have your exhaust checked more than likely a rear muffle is the problem.
