2001 Vauxhall Tigra Heavy Steering

Steering problem
2001 Vauxhall Tigra V8 ? miles

Hello,

I currently drive a Vauxhall Tigra (year 2001). I seem to have very heavy steering when i reverse as though i have no power steering but this only happens when i reverse. The problem seem to go once i am driving but then comes again. i am having problems finding out what this could be and would appreciate your help on this matter.

I would check the steering linkages/suspension and wheels etc. are not damaged/worn and catching something when vehicle traveling in reverse if the power steering is good in forward gears !! hope this helps
