Yesterday I put my keys in didnt even turn them and my car started. There was a wierd noise like something was grinding up in my engine and even when I took my keys out still made the noise. The car struggles to start also and my engine management light wont go off, do you know what this could be? Thanks

Firstly you have a bad wiring connection on the starter system somewhere .. have a garage look at the ignition switch and starter wires .. the grinding could be the starter engaging all the time !! have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to see why the MIL is on .. they could be related !!
