my car is stuttering under acceleration and deceleration and cutting out when stationary also my engine management light has come on for a short time and has since gone off any advice?

add a good fuel cleaner to the tank to clean the lines and injectors .. you could have the cars computer read for fault codes .. this would give us a better idea of where the actual fault lies !
