1998Vauxhall Tigra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 90.000 miles

I HAVE REPLACED THE STATS ON THE SIDE OF THE RAD.I HAVE REPLASED THE THERMOSTAT IN THE PIPE AT THE TOP OF THE ENGINE. THE 1 WHERE YOU CAN TEST BY PUTTING IN HOT WATER.
HALF OF THE RAD ONLY GETS HOT. EVEN IN THIS COLD WEATHER IF YOU DRIVE ABOUT 5 MILES THE TEMP GAUGE IN CAR GOES OFF THE SCALE PAST THE RED. BUT NOT LOOSING WATER.I AM SORRY BUT I AM UNEMPLOYED AND WOULD LOVE TO DONATE AS THIS PROBLEM IS DOING MY HEAD IN.

Start by flushing out the cooling system. It may have a blockage somewhere. Also this may be due to a faulty water pump !
