1996 Vauxhall s 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 70.000 miles

car stalls when driving. If left for a while it starts had a new fuel pump fitted but still have same probling.

When the car stalls check for the fuel pressure at the time of the problem. Also does it fire right up if you use starting fluid.

I have seen the main computer relay overheat can cause this issue, I would swap it out to see if it helps the problem. Also here is a guide to help you understand the problem and what other issues can cause this symptom.
