1996 Vauxhall Omega 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I was driving along earlier and suddenly the revs started going mad and was missfiring then the engine light came on. Turned car off then back on and it was fine for about 5mins before done it again.

You would need a scan done to retrieve the trouble codes for the CEL indicating to be able to proceed with diagnostics.
