1996 Vauxhall Omega Manual

my 2.5 v6 seems to gain and loose power when trying to accelerate have replaced egr valve,spark plugs, checked filters any idears

check the throttle position sensor !!

TPS is located on the throttle body .. it's a sensor that sends throttle position information to PCM (computer) regarding fuel delivery .. if it is worn/sticking it can cause the issues your describing .. i do not have a diagram of this vehicle .. your local library or autoparts store will be able to supply a repair manual with all the details you require
